Kicker motor on A 228

If everything works out on inspection this weekend, this boat will be making the trip to Oregon soon. As far as kicker placement, any recommendations for after market bracket? Also, will I need an XL shaft or just an L. Finally, I would like to place it on the port side and move the ladder to starboard. Looking forward to joining the cool kids in the Grady posse!

Kicker mount

My Panther kicker mount just arrived after 2 months. So I have a couple of questions for you people that mounted a kicker on your 228. I'm mounting my Yamaha T8 on the starboard side of my swim step. How did you run your cables and fuel hose? I don't want to just run them over the stern. Also I...
