This is crazy. I know when the new parts arrive, specifically the fuel line, but I check like three times a day for tracking updates...and it is the first thought (I do not count coffee) I have when I wake up...

In other news....submitted my plans for the new boat cover. Went with 12x38x16 instead of 36, so we can enclose it if we decide to. We will have to extend the entire deck 2 more feet when we do it, but I think it will be worth it. Not sure when it will go in, but we hope to start later this year.boat cover is like 8600 bucks delivered and installed. That will happen first so we can do the concrete afterwards.

So, depending on if I get time today, and weather, may have fuels lines installed and compression numbers later tonight. Dying to see what they are now heh.

Thanks. Going to wait a couple days. The fuel line came in, but this permatex does not dry in 24 hours like they say. Not going to let it get anywhere near fuel till it is dry. Not in a major hurry to go anywhere, so.. will give it till Saturday morning and should be dry.. well over 72 hours.

Oh, I have not gotten it yet. I just got the quote: 16' high, 38ft' long, 12ft' wide delivered and installed for 8500. This does not include a slab, but I plan to add that after it is installed.

We will be having Wolf Barns do it. They built my 30'x30'x10' workshop as well heh.

If you have the room to widen the barn by 2 or 3 ft and it doesn’t cost too much, it would allow you to move around the boat better for maintenance and if you get a flat while it is stored, you aren’t crammed trying to change a tire.

The boat is not going in the barn. Essentially, it will be alongside the back deck so plenty accessible. If I need it turned, I simply pull it forward.

I can tell you 12' is not wide enough for that type of shelter. Now if it had a overhang on both sides that would be better but usually they include that with the width so nothing gained there. The only way that would be adequate is to run a full sheet horizontal along the full lengths of each side at the top. Wish I could post a pic of my two, the one for the boat and the other for the RV to give you a real world visual.

This is my boat stored in a 12' ft section of my carport. The slab is 12 ft but I have an 18" overhang on one side and a solid wall on the other. This leaves me with about 20 inches on both sides from outside of tires. So if your boat is wider and your shelter taller, believe me it will not keep the rain out. As a result it will take longer to dry.

Thanks. I will eventually have a roof on the top, and a porch roof on the right side, and a lead-to along half of the other side. It is what it is as this is what the HoA will allow, so, it will get wet, but I will be protecting it as best as I can. I also plan to have a boat cover on the boat, while I am not working on it, so it will be fine.

@Ky Grady - fyi, I got the fuel separators installed but I may not get to run it today due to a storm coming in. We will see after I rest from fighting the new fuel lines...heh.

I ended up with extra line, so will have some spare. The Permatex did not dry on Outside but I think it was dry on the threads. People swear by it, so will see.
Anyway, will let you know as soon as I am able to get water under the engine and run it a bit what the compression is on that cylinder.

Bring it...batteries were aaaalmost charged enough to start, but will be good in the morning. Storm right now.

I planto run the engines about 30-45 minutes and then test the compression, see how they are. Hopefully they will be good to run tomorrow...we will see.
