So, looking at the Interwebs.. heh.. and, curious:

If you had to do work on a 2003 and 2004 F225 outboard... which parts would you use?

I found about.. $1,370 for the two exhaust kits from boats.net here:

The 2004 - https://www.boats.net/product/yamaha/MAR-EXHKT-04-00
The 2003 - https://www.boats.net/product/yamaha/MAR-EXHKT-03-00

I found the oil kit:

The issue is.. like the water pump kit.. what is missing? The water pump kit needed 3 washers and another small part that did not come with the freaking kit.

I would probably get a little knocked off at the time of order by ordering it all from the same place, but boats.net has a horrible search tool....so not sure what they offer, or if I have the right part number.

I found simyamaha to be a little more expensive, not sure it matters which to buy from.

Ordering online is not always the best. I prefer to talk with a human to verify what I need to do the work.

I've ordered quite a few things from Andy (never caught the woman's name that I've spoken with at times... maybe his wife?) at SIM. Good company to deal with and they've never steered me wrong. As Mr. Backwoods mentioned above... to me, having the ability to talk (I've also emailed questions and gotten excellent answers) to someone trumps saving a few bucks. Now, if you have someone local you can deal with - even better.

lol! I am not a forum policer...off-railing it is totally fine heh.

I would like to deal locally, but I have a lot to do so saving a hundred bucks is worth ordering online. I also have not found anyone reputable enough to deal with that handles Yamaha yet so...there is that.
