Oh yes, if you can have it done for you for only $1k-$1,500 more than you could do it yourself then it definitely makes sense to have someone else do the drive instead.I had it shipped to Tacoma. The seller had a friend that does it for a living. In the end it was about 1000-1500 more than I could have done it. It was well worth it. The electric over hydraulic actuator was wired wrong so that cost me another day of messing around, but my tranny is in one piece with a short tow home. There's some fixing that needs to be done, I'm picky about things so I have an easy project to work on. Until I get it off the trailer to paint it. That is a terrible job.
