2001 268 Islander, I am looking for that post that supports the table. It did not come with my boat at the time I purchased it.

Thanks Vin

Here's the setup that mine is supposed to have. Very hard to see, but the fittings on the seat and bulkhead are the same. That post like gizmo is what I didn't get.

Cool. Thanks. Yeah that's an idea, I guess I'm sort of hoping for the original equipment. I'd like to at least know what it is LOL.

// Emailed GW about this. I'll post when I get an answer...

From my local Grady dealer....

I checked with Grady and they do not have anything available. You may want to check ebay or craiglist see if anything might pop up there?

I will go get mine in a few minutes and take a picture and also get any relevant info from it, if it has any.
Stand by.

Thanks! Much appreciated. I'll probably fab something as well, since GW says there's nothing currently available.

Okay, this is what you are looking for. Part number 10-580 and I cannot google anything on it. I can call the local "dead boat parts" place today and see if they have any dead Grady boats and see what can be salvaged and how much, if anyone really needs one.

Table Pedestal w/ Brackets
Alternatively, there might be after-market solutions like this:

Won't work on the Islander, I think, because the groove down the side is what holds it, if you have the same setup as mine. After the meeting I am in is over, I will go take a picture of the other part in the cabin and you can see if you have that or the bolted bracket.

I also found that on ebay. That will not work on my boat either. I will send a pic later today of the connections on my boat and the bottom of the table

Rusty Ron's/Island Marina is a big marine surplus store/ebay store in MHC, NC, close to the Grady plant. He buys their leftover parts, when they finish a production run, and has a ton of stuff. May be worth a call.

Yea, he is a lot higher priced than anyone else out there, so do not be shocked....

I have been in contact with rusty's, I send him the pictures of the 2 mounting brackets , boat side and table side. They emailed me back saying they are looking but that it's an older part.

One would assume they used the same part on many similar years boats.

I guess Gradys are so dang tough there aren't any in the salvage yards. Their still on the water.

I'm going to contact the broker I bought the boat from to see if he can contact the original owner.

Worth a shot I guess.
