I recently purchased a Lowrance Live MFD. I have connected my Yamaha engine info to the MFD through my NMEA 2000. I connected the two with a cable from the Yamaha gauge bus at the helm to the NMEA 2000 . On selecting engine info screen I cannot get any gauges showing engine info rpm, oil press. etc. The gauge choices info do not come up on the screen as they should. Not sure now how to access them. I have isolated the the cable from the gauges to NMEA 2000 as both NMEA and the Yamaha gauges have there own 12V power. When not isolated the power goes to the ignition and Yamaha gauges on the turn of the battery switch, rather than ignition switch.......crap, I hope I have not confused the issue with my dragged out explanation. Anyway if this is understood and someone has done this I would appreciate very much some understanding.

You are right about the power being on both busses. I have Garmin and I seem to remember that I had to cut the (red) power wire on my home made cable to prevent the issue you mentioned. The gauge page came right up on the Garmins. Make sure you are connected to the correct port on the Yamaha command link multihub. My 330 has two hubs, one under the helm and another aft near the engines. It could be you need to configure the MFD configuration, but I'm not familiar with Lowrance. Do all the other NMEA 2K devices display on the MFD? Good Luck!

Thanks wspitler, Yes all other devices display in the NMEA 2000 just not the engine data. Plugged into one of the empty device ports on the Yamaha multihub at the helm then to the NMEA backbone. Still trying to figure it out.
