Has anyone "glassed in" the bottom of thier anchor locker to make it drain overboard instead of into the bilge? I like to rince my gear and it seams silly to be putting water into my boat. I'm fairly certain the windlass and locker door are avenues for water intrusion during heavy rains. Are there any reasons why I should not to do this?

Thanks.

Yes, the bottom of the locker is below the water line I believe.

you could close it off install a pump and pump it out. sounds like a good idea to me. I installed my life raft over the locker so I just run the lines down the walkway and hose everything off there, sun dry and stole it away .
