Map chip

A guy on Facebook is sending me a Garmin Chip Virginia to Florida. Now, I am going to look and see if I have those maps, not sure if the detail is different when you use a specific one like this one, but if I already have one, I want to make sure and pass it on to someone else that can use it.

This appears to be a Garmin chip, never used, so may get an update? Not sure. GU8912GL is the code on the map, GSMap. So, if anyone on the east coast could use it, let me know. The likelihood of me getting my boat to the East Coast and needing it is a lot less than someone else needing it. If it has never been used, probably will get an update with it.... I know mine did.

I will then let the guy know I passed on his nice gift to someone that needed it more.

I could use it(NC/SC). I am just using the base maps, and would get a lot of beneft from a Vision card.
Russ, that code doesn't match anything on Garmin, Ebay, Amazon, or Google.

Well, look at the picture and the date of it.. may be old, but it is yours when it comes in the mail... then you can thank the guy that gave it to me heh It looks like it may be an old copy.. not sure. Will know when it arrives.
