Trying to decide on what transducer to use on a 2021 Marlin 300. The hull has flats for the transducer, but it doesn't look as though there are any that fit in the space provided. Any input on what transducers anyone has installed on a Marlin 300 and where you placed them in the hull would be helpful.

I had a pair of Airmars installed prior to having the bottom blasted (high/low) both port and starboard. We left the existing one in the flat for the old unit which is a backup.

Nice on the 2021 Marlin, not sure what is different on Flats, but have 2 of these B175H and 175HW on 2005 Marlin.

The primary issue with the flats as provided is that they are too small for almost all of the transducers. We decided on the Garmin GT51M - - 600W chirp transducer. I appreciate all the suggestions as they helped point us in the right direction.

I inherited the Airmar B744V Triducer on the port side from the previous owner. It is connected to a Garmin GMS22 or 24 (I forgot which). It seems to work well - unless it is < 5' with a really soft silty bottom.
