Anyone know if there is a filter on the head vent on the Marlin? And if so how to find it?

Had mine a while now and figure it could use changing. I can find the vent itself on the hull.

I don't believe there is one.

What type of head system do you have? Do you have a Vaccuflush? If Grady chose to use a filter with a Vaccuflush system, it would usually be right on top of the tank.

Vacuflush, 2005 Marlin. Any idea what access panel to pull to see the holding tank? Good point, there may not even be a filter. I assumed but may be incorrect.

On my 2002 Sailfish it is behind the panel at the back of the mid-berth. My vent line was clogged in a couple of places, at the end from wasps and at the tank from 'product' sloshing up into that elbow. I picked a chilly day to do this work for obvious reasons.

Thanks. Did you find a filter on the vent line?
