Hey Guys:
I am thinking about buying a misting system for the boat. I have a freshwater tank. It is very easy to access and I think there is plenty of space in the stern area to mount the pump.

Do any of you have one ?

Is it worth it?

How difficult do you think it might be running the hose under the deck and snake it to the hard top?

If you're thinking of doing it, that must mean you think it will be useful to have. I say why not? It can't be that daunting. Just some good planning and execution. Do you have some kind of idea how much water a system like that consumes? I'm not sure.

A related story. We were on a dive boat in Antigua last year and they had two shower heads attached to the cross member of the hard top. Plumbing lines went through the pipe. Pretty nifty and convenient.

If I remember correctly on my 30 marlin on the starboard side there is a 2" conduit you may be able to snake a 1/4 inch line into. I had a mister around my pool and even with the hose shut off , as long as there was pressure it would still mist. I don't think you would need to put another freshwater pump it if you could tie into one of your lines already existing I think your freshwater pump will work just fine.

not familiar with them being up north. that being said, can't you use either the freshwater or saltwater washdowns? sounds like work for nothing if you ask me....
