Seeing a lot of boats for sale in my area, thoughts of buying one ( not a Grady) and doing a little rebuild. I do enjoy the process, working on boats, and would consider it a bit of a challenge and fun. No I would only replace my Grady with another one! The question I have "can one remove the in/ out engine on any smaller boat, say under 25 ft. and refit with a pod and outboard or can only some only be applied to some. Look forward to the responce!

Definitely doable. The transom probably needs strengthening to support an outboard bracket. There are bracket builders which can match to certain models of boats - depends on the shape of the transom so the bracket has to match the pitch/slope to provide the right level/balance for the outboard to sit.

Thanks Pointed, There appears to be a lot to choose from, never seen so many boats for sale up here, so hopefully will find something to play with.

"Quality" may be the issue here!
