I have that little dedicated display for autopilot. It has the 10, 1, 1, 10 degree adjust menu on the bottom, is there a way to move that to the side or the top?

Why would you stack left/right buttons on the side?
You have a touch screen GHC50? The pdf manual is on the garmin site. I don’t see any way to move the controls. You can’t even move AP controls on the bigger MFDs. Dunno why you would need to

I have a GHC20 and i am not aware of any way to move the icons on the display as on mine the 3 keys below are linked to the function of the bottom line.

You ma do a search for Garmin user manual "name of your display" and you will find the online and downloadbla manual for most Garmin devices.

Where I had to mount it makes the buttons on the bottom not the best to access.

I’m guessing the touchscreen buttons are a problem if they aren’t in front of you. I have the GHC20 with hard buttons. I have it low next to the wheel and I use it all the time to steer.
