Good looking boat...

Any issues with the trailer? Seems like a lot of weight for a single axle, especially with the hardtop...

A properly set up single axle is more than adequate for a 20' Grady. I've got a 1982 single axle EZ-Loader under my 204 and it is perfect for the boat. Now, I know my boat is lighter than the Sea-V2 208, but my trailer could easily handle 1000 more lbs.

Nice looking rig Frankie! :D

Nice looking boat Frankie...Did you buy the boat from Tony Vaccaro at White Water Marine in Oakdale? I spoke to him the other day...He has a 263 Chase and a 265 Express he is trying to sell..I told him to put them in our for sale column but he has not done that yet....Talk to you soon

I wonder about the trailer too. I figure my boat is over 4000++ lbs loaded and have a 6K trailer. I guess thats a 5K rated trailer, at most?

Recommend tabs for that rig too, especially with a 150. Nice hardtop!

Frankie's 208

Nice looking setup!. Mine is almost identical, except for the bow extension with the anchor roller. Is that aftermarket? I like it.

Mine is a '94 with a Yammaha 150. The washdown pump and remote spotlight no longer work (winter projects, I guess).

Someone mentioned tabs. Do you think there is enough room for them. I have a swim ladder on port, and a 9.9 kicker opposite. It doesn't seem like a lot of room for tabs, although I would like them. Mine seems to ride bow-high. Is that characteristic of these boats?

Great setup, I'm sure you love it!

Tabs REALLY make a difference!!!

After putting tabs on mine, everyone I knew put them on theirs after riding in mine.

Tabs are a MUST for the 20' Gradys! A completely different boat afterwards.

Frankie,

In just one word ............ SWEET! 8)

I have a 2002 208 and I installed trim tabs (Lenco) two years ago and couldn't be happier. I found them most useful when there is an uneven load in the boat & beam sea.

This past weekend I also finished installing a Grady bow pulpit and bowrail and hope to finish installing the windlass this wekend. I'll post pics when I'm through.

Maybe we'll meet up on the water some day ................ Joe

Nice looking boat Frankie. I have a 208 down here in Clearwater, FL.
I love that boat. It seems every time I take the boat out, someone comes up to me and says...."what a nice looking boat". We go out to an island called Three Rooker Bar. It's 3 miles out in the Gulf. There is a Webber Q grill comercial on tv right now. That commercial was shot on that island. I think we have some of the best beaches in the country. If you ever get down to the Tampa Bay area, check them out!

JK....if I had re-trailered my old 204, I probably would have gone with a tandem too. :)
