Need Advice

I just had an opportunity of buying a 1986 20ft Overnigther but I have some question you may help me to decide. It has a twin 1986 75hp evinrude. It looks good just need some TLC.

My questions:

1. How much I can pay for this type of boat?

2. This outboards are my main concern, how much time can I expect from them. The owner told me he just repair one transmission.

Get a survey, it will be the best $$ you will spend. It may cost a couple hundred but it will save you thousands if you buy a lemon. Have mech look at the engines, again may cost a few bucks but if your really firm on getting an older grady with older engines it is well worth it knowing what you are getting into. GL.
