I had my 4' section go this year. First breakdown at sea in my 13 years with this boat. The bad thing is any hydraulic leak will impact steering to both outboards. I had to use the binnacle to steer coming in and around the marina. There are a couple of different versions. One has the stainless bulkhead and one has the black plastic. Got it from seatech. The latter is HO204 and the former is 8704.
Once replacing you should be able to install fluid and bleed from the helm. Just slowly work the steering side to side and through the entire range of turning. I didn't have to touch the bleed screws.
