Getting ready to go through this as well. When I repowered, I installed new digital gauges and the fuel level is shown for both tanks. The original Grady setup was a switch to toggle between the 2 tanks and one reading on the old gauge. So I pulled the switch panel and cut the two pink wires from the bundle and ran one to each feed from the new gauges, which kinda worked at first. Now I'm getting no reading from the gauge, so I will be pulling the floor and run all new wires from tanks to ground and new wire from sending unit up to the gauge, bypassing the original 20 year old wiring. This should resolve my issue. On a side note, I'm having New Wire build me a new switch panel with all new switches and breakers and will have a back-lit GW logo incorporated into it. Moved some locations of switches around and created a couple of spares from things I eliminated. Pretty excited about this upgrade. Pics to follow.
