1983 GW Tarpon 19 footer. My fuel gauge is all over the place. It never settles so that you might be able to read just how much gas you have. Is there a fix for this or should I just get used to it?

I would check the ground connection of both the gauge and the sending unit on the tank. That's the usual cause of instability.
