So we were thinking about those early morning runs out or maybe coming back to the dock after dark. Did a little research and decided to install a Flir. It interfaces with our Garmins. Very cool and works well. First trip used was coming back after dark from watching the fireworks on July 4th. Very useful in dodging all the crazies in the waterway in the dark. The second and third pic below show an area by eye and the same area on chart.

I was just finishing up the install. I used that to brace myself from the front instead of leaning on the windshield as I was buttoning up a few things.
