I have a 2009 275 Tournament, I replaced the square Tach gauges(2) with another set of the same with better screens. They power up but do not show any data. When I put an old one back in there is data. I am thinking there is some sort of pairing that has to happen between the new gauge and ECM. Does that sound valid? I see in the instruction guide where you set the engine number in the gauge but I thought it was just basically a display of ECM data. Any ideas would be appreciated. the gauge model is 6y8t.

The gauges have to know what engine data to monitor and what data to display Therefore programming the specific engine number is important. Refer to your manual for installation and configuration steps
