New Gauges

Looking into replacing my old gauges and making a new "dashboard" and re-laying out the gauges.

What material do you guys typically use for the "dashboard"?

I used 3/4" starboard ran it thru the planer and took it down to 1/2" .(I only planed off one side). Made a cardboard template of how I wanted things to look and went from there.

( I would've used 1/2" but 3/4 was all had)

Nice job..........but I was referring to where the gauges are mounted.

I use Rowmark ultra-matte black engraving stock. It's UV stable and suitable for an outdoor/marine environment.

These are the two I have built with the stuff. Planning on another two with the same material for the Sailfish soon.
