New Grady White 228 Seafarer owner with a couple of questions...

Found a pic of the old rear speakers. These couldn't handle an amp so took them out. Front 2 sets are still in there.

SKAR audio replacements but the same holes in the hardtop were used... luckily. Those box speakers are really easy to mount!

Not much room in the hardtop when you open the boxes. The speakers fit perfect though. I can hear the music while running. Nothing to fancy about these speakers but they are Polks an can handle 100 w RMS.

I can paint the grills white but white/black works with the other colors.

Thanks for the ideas on both the speakers and downrigger outlet plugins, both are very classy and clean looking.

Don, Are you at a fish camp/resort in that pic? I'm dreaming about a trip to Rivers Inlet someday.
That picture was taken in July 2020 when we stayed at Critter Cove in Nootka Sound as our regular cabin was not available due to COVID restrictions by the owners. We were invited back to our regular floating cabin this year which was less busy and a bit quieter than Critter Cove.

A little bit of an update... I got the Burnewiin downrigger mounts and installed them today on the boat and will finish up the wiring for the downriggers tomorrow. The Burnewiin mounts were definitely spendy but I love the clean look that they give the boat and I also don't want to go the cheap route on something like this. I'm still working on the speaker brackets and what I'm going to do there, I might even just get replacement speakers or whatnot, but we will see.

Also mounted the downrigger plug in outlets next to the pole holders in a nice little spot. I adjusted the screws a bit so there isn’t the gap anymore that I had in the pictures.
