I have on-loan, a very nice 225 Tournament, 2005 model year. With that said, I've been doing some light maintenance that was needed, and one of the things that would appear to be in need of replacement is the CB panel adjacent to the batt-selector switch. See attached picture...

This boat is in a salt-water environment, and while I understand why the panel is where it is, it's a crappy location and the corrosion is understandable. My first thought is that the CB's are so frozen up that they wouldn't trip. That's a bad deal...

I haven't pulled the box out yet, but is there a p/n and manufacture of the CB side of this panel?

Next, I'm likely going to have a dodger installed over the bow, in order to provide some more shade for the kiddies. There are plenty of pics out there, but I haven't seen any specific to this model. Any members here have a 225 with a dodger that can share some comments and pictures?

Lastly, this boat has just a two-gauge set up on the instrument panel. I haven't gotten into the manual yet, but it would appear I'm not able to scroll through all the functionality of these two gauges when pressing the mode buttons. The owner's manual references an additional manual that I don't appear to have (Sportfish, cruisers, Yachts owner's manual. Is this available for download?

Thanks,

Ultra.

ps. 'board attachment quota has been reached'....

so I guess no pic....

Welcome aboard....

The easiest way to post pics is to use photobucket or flickr and then copy the bbcode from each picture into your posting.

As for the manuals, the Yamaha gauge manuals are included in the Yamaha Owners Manuals which can be viewed and - I think - downloaded from www.yamaha-motor.com

The dodger for the bow is an interesting concept. Not sure if there is enough room to lay it forward but I'm sure someone has attempted it. You might reach out to a place like Canvas Designers (www.canvasdesigners.com).
