day 2 on the blocks is over. grating noise and resistance was a worn spot on the prop shaft which damaged bearing and seal. only new shafts per mechanic are in japan and who knows when they will be here. fortunately a suitable used one was located locally and will be in hand soon. pulled about 60 feet of wire/coax/transducer cable which was not functioning and left over from previous electronics work. i hate when people leave the old wire when replacing something.
new question, we checked continuity of aux charge wire on each motor and from motor to battery box neither motors wire had continuity. this was an end to end wire check with nothing else involved. thinking of just splicing a wire from the large 80 amp fuse to the battery compartment to use for aux charging, ie bypassing the aux wire
