2001 sailfish with twin 200 hpdi’s. We finally found the Grady that meet our criteria. It’s currently on its way from Florida to Southern California. We had a small mako but finally upgraded to the Grady life. We have small things we want to get done as soon as possible, one being a good cover to protect it from the elements when we’re not using it. If anyone has any input on good covers it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you hauling or did you find someone? Curious as I’m buying a boat in Florida right now and need it shipped to Maryland. If u did hire and found it a positive experience I’d appreciate the lead.

I found someone. So far he’s been great, his name is Paul with Eagleline transportation (561)886-8108. He’s kept me up to day with progress reports and pictures. So far I’d definitely recommend him once I have possession of my boat I’ll update you.

Looks like a nice boat. I just did the same thing. I’m from lauderdale but live in LA. My Grady was pulled from Jax to Reno to LA. Long story. But she’s here now and all rebuilt, repowered and ready to go. I’ll see ya around the islands. Sailfish sure are a great boat and you are just in time for the yellowtail tournament. Regarding covers, I just bought one from T top covers by Laporte, they have all the patterns for Grady . See pic.

We should be taking delivery tonight or tomorrow morning. I’m bummed I won’t make the yellowtail shootout this year. Can’t wait to get it out to the Coronado’s, Clemente, and Catalina. I was looking at the T top covers. I was a little concerned with dirt and debris still getting in through the top. Are you finding a lot of dirt and debris still getting in through the top? What was the delivery time for your cover?

So far the cover has been good. No debris enters through the top gap underneath the hardtop. My main reason for getting this type of cover was because its heavy I didn’t want to lift the cover over the top. Too much work for me. Big covers easily weigh 50 lbs and are bulky. Total delivery time was 4 weeks. Not bad and you call them and they give you the best price since there is no middleman and they go over exactly what features you have on the boat so the cover fits just right. I have a side zipper on port and I can get in and out of the boat without taking the cover off. I’m heading to Catalina tomorrow! The marine layer has been thick so it’s been a tough June gloom so far.
