Of course, it’s a good business model…if you ever need to replacement one of the engines or new lower unit , crown, trim mount. Grady White will glad to sale you more custom parts to match.
Well, there was no price premium for this. My build sheet doesn't even have this as an option. It was either Yamaha pearl white or grey, no price difference between the two. I opted for the white and beginning in 2024, the GWs are now coming in grey or the ivory. I suppose one could get pearl white if they wanted, but I doubt GW is even keeping those in inventory going forward. These come this color from Yamaha, GW doesn't paint these. It's a Yamaha factory option only for GW.

So, yes, if a lower unit goes out, someone has to pay. And it would be wise to match your current color, whatever that is. I don't see it as a "custom" part though. My current boat had the SB lower unit (Mercury Verado) go out last year and I had to pay just under 10 grand to get it replaced. It's the cost of owning a boat.

Thanks for the pics! That’s a beautiful boat. I’m sure you’re stoked!
that sticker on the port gunwale at the transom is the factory QC sticker. It has the initials of the inspectors. It peels off easy. I stuck it on a sheet of paper and kept it.

I should have taken that! I did take the GW Sticker from the wrap!

I was just told that the 2024 boats can order Yamaha 300’s in the Grady cream color instead of the pearl white.
What do you think ?

saw both white and cream at the NE boat show. Cream does look sweet.

They look fantastic! I don’t know if white is still an option for new builds

The pearl white just doesn't blend. Looks very aftermarket. The Grady Cream looks custom and flows perfectly.

I think GW will ditch the white after talking with the dealers at the show. Yamaha did the color specifically for GW, so you can be sure they all will be that color soon. I think it looks really sharp.
