My Gal: You'll gonna love that boat! Second year with mine. Trailered around all last year with a Chevy 2500HD- no problems. Easy launch and retrieve. Did it alone several times but alot easier with two. My wife actually drives the truck and embarrasses most guys with her skill, even me!

I suggest you have front centering bunks on the trailer, this will aid in centering the trailer during loading and prevent the pulpit from hitting the bow roller during both launching and recovery. When I got my new trailer for my 248 it had a V-brace in the front which was worthless compared to the front centering bunks.
