I had been Gradyless for over 17 months and that all ended yesterday :D . I bought a 2000 Gulfstream with twin 150 Yamahas. I bought the boat in NC and it was delivered to MD yesterday. This is my first boat with twins so I look forward to seeing how the boat handles compared to everything I ran in the past. I need to give her a good cleaning and update the electronics but I can't wait for the season to start. Any advice on the Gulfstream would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on a nice boat!

A tip: trim the engines up just a bit when in reverse. Otherwise thrust bounces off the hull. Instead, you want the thrust directed to just beneath the hull.

congratulations! the gulfstream is a great boat, i'm sure you'll love it.

i don't know what you had before, but take your time and practice the close quarter handling. this 23 is actually 28' loa. the twins will make it real easy though. and rob has a good suggestion. never tried it, but sounds like it will give a little more bite.

Congratulation!
I have been looking for 6 months and I know how difficult it is to buy, even in this market. For helping me with my purchase could you post here/PM me with your option list and price? I am also looking for late 90's Gulfstream with twin engines.
I envy you.

congrats!!
Had an 89 gulfstream with twins before our marlin.Lots of great memories and a great boat.
