Northern California albacore/Mahi-mahi

This Tuesday and Wednesday out of Fort Bragg excellent ocean condition finally and water temperatures came up to 58 to 64° out there perfect conditions steady pick of good grade albacore that the other day we picked A surprise mahi-mahi very unusual up here first day we ended up with 24 albacore One mahi-mahi long day steady pick second day we decided to go for a shorter day we ended up with 15 albacore both days we had three guys on the boat. Boat got very bloody but all of us were extremely happy. We had up to three at a time on, we never lost a fish that we had hooked ,very happy and proud of our crew.Now to start canning.

So that was you! My buddies up in Santa Cruz were telling me there was a dorado caught in Ft. Bragg right after I was telling them the dorado fishing down here was the best it’s ever been Awesome job!

Yeah there was a few other ones caught also we had a blast since I’ve been retired I’ve had very little time or even less time to come down but I need to do that it’s on my list!
