My buddy has that boat and he has Taco Grand Slam 280 bases and the Taco Silver 1.5" x 15' poles. I have the exact same setup and like it.

Assuming you have a hardtop that is factory ready for outriggers (reinforced and backing plates welded in) I would go with hardtop mounting. Grady White can confirm what they are setup for. GemLux Deluxe stainless. Pick a rigger length.

The choice of outriggers depend on several factors
  • Is your boat wet slipped or do you trailer her
  • Factory preparation to install the base as already mentioned
  • collapsible ones or non collapsible ones
  • how much you use them, frequent use need a better, more practical system
  • what kind of lure you usually pull, outriggers can be too stiff or too floppy and both can have a negative impact on lure movement
If your boat is wet slipped you have to take care with non collapsible ones that they are not longer than the boat
Collapsible ones solve a lot of problems but need every time to be extended and the lines untangled
Most comfortable and fastest to deploy are fixed, non collapsible outriggers
For storing non collapsible or long rides you should use a resting bracket on the back of the T-Top to take strain off the bases
I would prefer carbon outriggers over aluminum, but carbon ones are expensive
My BW Outrage 23 had gunnel mounted Taco Striker bases, worked well and the vertical storing position was very comfortable

On my actual RIB have collapsible carbon poles in a rodholder and it works well but lines like to tangle when collapsed. I had double spreader Lee outriggers on my Venture 34 and they where the bes but very unpractical to transport if needed. The BW Outrage with the gunnel mounted bases had fiberglass poles and i found the vertical storing solution very comfortable to use. As the boat was wet slipped the outriggers where 12 Month a year installed and ready to use.

Hardtop mount. GemLux Deluxe outrigger bases. Any rigger you want that fits. Mine are 15' but you can go longer.
