Has anyone been dealing with a 4K Panda Generator that has an erratic fuel pump with no voltage ? I am being told its probably an issue with the fire suppression system Grady does not want to seem to help and Fisher panda says they only offer this feature to boat builders and of course when it comes to messing with Fire suppression systems no one wants to be the person to help with figuring in out how to bypass this wiring. its on a 2016 330 i have been dealing with this issue for 18 month. I KNOW it has something with wiring etc. i can make the generator run 12 15 hours solid from the fuel tank and having the fuel shut off solenoid disconnected and the fuel pump hard wired to the battery so no its not a fuel issue. Had a pursuit dealer tell me he had one took like 3 days of calls and wiring trial on era but finally got it to bypass the signal from suppression system and ran like new ever since?

Didn't know GW had a fire suppression system in 2016.

Going through this exact problem right now. FP authorized mechanic thought they had it fixed with a fuse change. It runs for 30-45 mins and still cuts out. She is on the hard right now so we will resume trouble shooting in the spring. Even after replacing the fuel pump I noticed it does not operate when the Failure bypass switch is pressed. Working with JGordon in Annapolis to try and figure this out. I will keep you updated.

Just guessing, but usually fire suppression systems are purchased from an outside vendor, installed and interfaced to whatever it’s protecting. I don’t know what type it is but if there is a discharge canister it may have the vendors name on it you could use to get more information on wiring/interface. It could be there is a fault like the canister is discharged and the suppression system is performing as designed.
You may have better luck dealing with a local vendor that services that particular system as they would likely be more familiar with it and its interface with whatever it’s protecting.

No, just going from experience with adding fire suppression systems to machine tools that use cutting oils for coolant.
Our business was supplying machine tools to manufacturers and if they planned to use flammable oil in the machine we would purchase fire suppression systems for the machines. After installing the system we would hire an independent third party to inspect and certify the installation, for liability reasons.
In general terms the systems would have a pressurized canister with the retardant, tubing, fire sensor, and retardant dispersion nozzles, along with a basic control. The system would be interfaced to the machine control to stop the machine, which sounds like the area youre having trouble identifying signals. Your fire suppression vendor should be able to provide an interface schematic that identifies which wire does what.
As I mentioned in my previous reply, the fire suppression system may have a fault and is inhibiting operation of the device it’s protecting, which is performing as designed. It‘s possible that it’s a simple fix like recharging the retardant canister, as that’s something that’s monitored, at least on the systems I’m familiar with.
I’m not familiar at all with what you have, just sharing in general terms how they operate.
