Hi Guys, Still trying to get some photos of 208 mods uploaded- download? onto this site. Followed the directions precisely using photo bucket but they don't appear to load onto the Grady Forum. Either show up as a question mark or the description of the photo. Does anyone know of a procedure that works? I have a Mac, wondering if that makes things more difficult. Possibly a nerd in a future life, certainly not in this one! Cheers, trapper

OK OK, so nobody else has issues with posting a photo. I guess someone has to be the class dunce, but why me? If there is an easier way with positive results please share. It does appear that some of the guys maybe not be as slow as me, but not that far ahead, posting photos so huge they cannot be viewed with any perspective. So I am not quite alone, and not really enjoying the silence. Anyway a little help is better than none. Looking forward to many helpfull replies. Cheers trapper. :bang :bang :bang

I have DropBox to backup my photos and have tried to use them on some boards. I usually have trouble with the link showing a photo online but the link can be clicked and the photo can be viewed. Not ideal but it also cuts the download for those that are not that interested in the topic.

So here is my test, I'll try to post a Drop Box photo of a rod holder/cup holder I just installed.

First using the IMG command =>
2014-09-09%2013.15.23.jpg

Then using the URL command => https://www.dropbox.com/s/9u050nf7j36tvjy/2014-09-09 13.15.23.jpg?dl=0

Then just posting the link. => https://www.dropbox.com/s/9u050nf7j36tv ... 3.jpg?dl=0

So no, you are not the only one that has issues with posting photos here. One other boards I use Tapatalk because I take most photos with my phone, and Tapatalk makes photos JUST work. I love it. It is not an option here.

I also have some photos backed up to Google and that may react differently.

Nope, the same result. I am challenged when it comes to posting photos unless I can use Tapatalk. And no, I'm not moving all photos to another service.

Thanks No Bail for responding with possibly another perspective on getting photos onto the Grady Forum. I will give it a go and hope for better results than my previous efforts. With thanks, trapper
