I’ve seen some Gradys with hardtops that have small plexiglass windscreens. Does anyone have these and are they functional or an annoyance?

I have it. It makes it harder to manage the enclosure on that side, like rolling it up and fastening the strap. Not sure if it does anything regarding the wind, I have often been tempted to just remove it.

I'd only use them if I got caught in the snotty stuff. Prob more work and get in the way most days.

I've got one on my 1991 24 Offshore, Can't say if it's good or bad, never caused a problem other than cleaning off the dead bugs!

I suppose they do something if you are running without a front enclosure panel. Removed mine when I re-did my hardtop. Single piece polycarbonate across my front.

For some reason, I was thinking you were talking about the side winds on the CCs... My B.
For a polycarb windscreen, I think that would be a nice idea. Thru bolt through the hardtop frame. I'd rubber mount using SS fastners and capped nuts on the back side.

I had one on my Seafarer, I removed it as I couldn’t figure out what it was for. I thought it might be a sun visor but never needed it for that purpose.
