Replaced my original seats with Pompanette t2005 helm seats. The seats seem to have a lot of wobble in the thought. Mostly from slide mechanisms but also some wobble from the actual fit to the pedestal. seems like the sliding nylon spacers could be thicker? Also if the knob that allows the seat to swivel isn’t tightened down really hard they wobble all over the place. Anybody have similar experience or solution?

Is there a plastic bushing on the pedestal post? It should be a sleeve than slides onto the post and acts as a bushing between the pedestal and the slider 'socket'.

Yep. There is a sleeve. As well as an additional plastic ring that the base rides on. But there is even some wobble in the actually slider… called Pompanette when they first arrived and didn’t get a tremendous amount of support..
