Power steering question: 33 Express

I have had intermittent issues with this where my power steering pump seems to stop working. the steering is extremely difficult when this happens. Has anyone had this happen to them, suggestions for a fix, is my pump starting to go? Fluid is topped off, no air in the lines, just strictly a pump issue...

Did you install an auto pilot? If you did, did you install the new lines with teflon tape? If yes, you might have teflon tape in your lines.

there was also that tech bulletin that Gw/Teleflex put out. check that to see if it has any implications. ron

Yeah, you right, i forgot about that even though i was the one who posted it here.

Thanks for the info. Follow up question: Do either of you know where I could learn more about this bulletin or where I could locate it? I placed a call to GW but have not heard back yet. Thanks again...

I had the same issue a year ago..They replaced the pump with a new one upgraded one..Worked great since.
