I got a free set of alum. props with a pair of 2008 etec 200's i just bought for my 1989 Salfish,
any reccomendations on what i should get? I dont use the boat all that often so can justify the extra couple hundred for ss, or if this changes ill get them inthe future.
Thanks

Prop Questions?

Should be directed to Bay Propeller in Chesapeake, VA. For a high horsepower engine, you may want to consider SS instead of aluminum. Call Max to set you up. They are a very straight-shooting shop.

Sorry but that's funny coming from someone who just bought 2008 ETECs...

I would start with something like a 15 x17.

lol long story short, came across a WICKED deal and after blowing a motor last year we picked them up.. basically out of cash right now to spend more than i need too.

I concur with the NEED to replace aluminum props with SS.

I also concur with calling Max at Bay Propellor in Chesapeake, VA - unless you have a good, cooperative prop shop locally.

Keep an eye on Ebay too. I picked up a very nice set of lightly used 19 pitch Mirage Plus props about 2 years ago for like $265.
