Purchasing new toggle switches

I would like to replace the toggle switches on the helm on my 2005 GW Sailfish. Any suggestions where I can buy them?

If the switches are Carling and still work, just change the covers like several here have done. 10 seconds per switch. Newwire marine $4.99 each. See similar threads on this forum for more info.

I just purchased a set of the Etched & backlit rocker switches from NewWireMarine. I'll be replacing all the switches, gauges & the dash panel in my 1987 Fisherman 204 this week. These switches cost a bit more but look like they will be an awesome upgrade. All of my current switches are the boriginal equipment & are beat. I'll post some pics once completed. BTW, these are rockers & not toggles, so that may not work with your current dash panel &/or switch holes. They do sell normal toggles as well. Carling brand is all they carry i think.

Well I finished my new switch panel installation the other day. I drew a wire diagram to follow before starting, otherwise I'd say good luck. I also used shrink connectors throughout, a must. Can't imagine having anything failing for years this way. LOL, I know, I know...
Thanks Newwiremarine for all the cool switches & all the helpful info on your website. Good luck to those who try this themselves. It is not as hard as it might look, but it is tedious, just get the right wire & connectors together & sit at your coffee table for a day or so. Be PATIENT! Then install the panel in the boat another day.

Looks nice...Did you use the existing color coded wires or put all new wires on them?

I used the existing leads to the fixtures in the boat. At least for the nav/anchor lights, fuel sender & the manual bilge wires. They seemed fine but I did wonder if they are tinned at all. Seemed like they've held up a long time either way. Everything else is new tinned wire. Not to hard to pull the grady wires though should I ever have faults. The horn & helm lights are all within the console. BTW, my Grady is a 1987 Fisherman 204.

You have to measure your panel. They have an online e-panel builder that walks you through the process. Was fun for me to see what it would look like before I placed my order.
