The 12v SHURflo 3901-0216 water pump for my freezer plates gave out. Looks like someone installed a freshwater one as opposed to raw water but it did last several years. (It was 55 PSI, 3 GPM). I was looking at a replacing with a Pentair SHURflo raw water general pump and they have 3 that are designed for refrigeration circulation: 2095-273-200 (1.5 GPM, 70 PSI), 8050-261-105 (.5 GPM, 30 PSI), 4728-110-E10 (2 GPM, 45 PSI).
My AC unit uses a MARCH pump with a far faster flow. (Q) For freezer plates, does flow really matter And could I do 1.5 or 2 instead of 3 GPM? Also, does Jabsco make one for cold plates? I could only find fresh water ones. It would be nice to have one that is quiet.
