So I ended up having to remove the extension I added to the pipe nipple as there was not enough clearance when pushing it back through the transom and the 90 elbow hit the transom well inside. What I was able to do was remove the top of the new actuator and thread it on directly to the old pipe nipple with someone reaching down from inside and getting a couple fingers on it to hold it in place. I then retread the actuator body back onto the top portion and everything seems to work. Hooked everything back up and added fluid to the reservoir and found there were no leaks which was great. Unfortunately the tabs are still not making it quite all the way up. I’ve attached some pictures below. I’m guessing that’s all I am going to get out of them.
