Turned west from Crazy Charlie this morning at 6AM, looking for birds. water calm, no wind, hazy. At the fisrt green can (#5?) I see a fin. Pull back on throttle and watch closely, sure enough a fin is porpoising, moving east, I track it a bit, and its defineltly a dolphin or porpoise of some kind. Didn't see the whole body but estimate it to be between 4 and 5 feet.
After leaving it alone, I limited out on blues in the shallows between #5 and #7. biggest was 28 inches. Spitting up sand eels, spearing, and I saw what looked like peanut bunker being chased. Took three blues home for the dinenr table, rest are for you guys. We live in a paradise.
