Sitting on the new Australian compliant trailer in Baltimore. Shipping out on the 27th for Brisbane.
Then about 35 days. They are going to drag.34.jpg

Waiting is the hardest part, right!

I've shipped a number of boats out of that yard - that place is GIGANTIC! A couple thoughts (if you can have someone do this), since it looks like you're not having it shrink wrapped...

-- Tape the VHF antenna down securely
-- Tape the windshield wiper
-- Turn the spotlight backwards
-- Put hull preservation tape (that's that big, white/black stuff you see) over the entire windshield. No need to tape wiper, then, as well.

What sort of things are required on the trailer for it to be Aussie legal?

Thanks for the tips Dennis.
Discussed with the importer whether to clean and shrink wrap in the US but decided a possible clean by quarantine services here would be cheaper but would delay pick-up.

This is what Load Rite says about Aussie compliant trailers.

"Load Rite now offers trailers for the Australian market that are fully compliant with regulations “down under.” We’ve made a lot of changes to these models to bring them into compliance: brakes, wiring, lights, overall width, couplers, safety chains, and probably most importantly, the VIN placard."

Pass the time by reading Russ’ posts about waiting for his sled. You’ve got a beauty there. Enjoy and post often.

Nice trailer! I'm enjoying my Seafarer still learning about it, trying to customize it my way and make it comfortable for all who ride.
