Out fishing the other day and noticed the releases on the flat lines and outriggers were stiff cranky. Today I took apart the outrigger releases taco style with threaded adjuster on top and cleaned and lubed them. They seem much smoother now and adjust easily. Flat lines were wire clip style and just put some Balistol on them and they were much smoother as well. Only figures sitting out all year they would need some tlc.
Just wondering what others protocol might be.

Thanks for the service reminder. Like anything else on a boat, if it's metal and needs to move, slide, release etc. it needs to be cleaned and lubricated!
