Just bought a 1995 208 Adventure. The logos are a liitle messed up and I want to replace them. Any suggestions on how to remove the ones that are presently on the boat without damaging the hulls finish.
Thanks in advance.

Crazy: Welcome to the forum!

I used to have a 1995 208. I wonder if that boat made it to New Jersey ...

For removing the emblem, apply heat with a blow dryer (for hair) and work it up slowly. Residue should be removed by soft scrub with bleach.

Yikes...soft scrub and bleech on the hull...I would advise against that except for harsh stains. Use a hull cleaner, it is safe for the hull and will do a better job, it is made for this. Colinite 920 hull cleaner is what I would recommend. Using something like soft scrub will clean it for sure, but take the finish off quick, and over time wear the gelcoat down as well as take any wax off the boat. Hull cleaner will take wax off too, but will not damage anything below or seep into the poors of the gelcoat and damage it over time.

You may need to do the whole hull with hull cleaner if it is even the slightest bit dirty, depends on how well it was washed and how much the sun as effected the hull color, if there is a noticable difference between where the emblem was and the hull, clean it all.
