Want to take them to a local upholstery shop but not sure how to take them off. Looked on the back side and did not see a bolt or nut to take off.

What year? Mine just pulls straight up. Maybe it’s designed differently but I take mine off after every use...
1996, and I think they have been on for a long time. I have tried just pulling straight up, but maybe I just need to try harder!
Try slightly towards you as well. Mine are on slight angles so maybe pulling directly up won’t dislodge it

Some Seafarers have small screws spaced along the bottom edge as well as the clips, mine came without the combing pads so I made them from scratch and just use the pull up clips but remove them regularly when not in use

Look on the bottom side of the pads and you will see a brass grommet every few inches. With a Phillips screwdriver you can feel around and find a screw to remove in each grommet. When they are all out pull straight up and the pad will come off. That's how mine are fastened.

Halfhitch has your answer. The sit on J hooks and fixed with S/S screws when you put your screwdriver through the grommets point it upwards to located the screws.

Yep. Just did mine on my Marlin. Enough material and all tools required were around $550 for the bolsters, aft seat and companion seat. Prob half that for just the bolsters. If interested in doing it yourself see the thread in the Tips forum. The bolsters are fairly easy to do. Seats a little tricky.
