I have a 2004 185 tournament, removing the cushions to have them reupholstered. the bow back rest cushions are not coming off and hoping someone can tell me how to remove them before I damage them. Tried forcing them upwards like the rear backrest cushions but not moving. Thanks in advance!

I just removed mine on a 2007 Tournament. Remove the phillip head screws that are put in at each drain grommet as shown below then slide up off the z clips. Here is a pic of mine with the cushions off. Take your time and use a good screw driver and apply constant pressure while removing, A couple of mine had stripped heads so I had to use a hacksaw blade and saw them off between the backside of the cushion and boat.

Good diagram. In some installs only a few of the grommet holes are used for screws. To find where screws are It may help to slide a very thin scraper or putty knife behind the bottom edge of the bolster and move it along until it hits something. That something may be a screw.

Look for some screws near the brass circular drain grommets. Take these out first. Then lift off per the pics above.
