removing live well pump

Its tough access to this pump and see attached pic. How in the heck do I remove this most to replace without damage to fitting and through hull port? Thanks

With the sea cock closed and wires and hoses removed, simply unscrew it. The Livewell pump is threaded onto a plastic NPT thread coupler which goes into your metal through hull. Should be easy. They are meant to be replaced once in a while. When installing - don't over tighten and used pipe thread. Good luck...

Thanks HMBJack....they previously caulked this unit it so I had to drill it out after just snapping pump off...hand tightened new pump in place and used tape thread...John
