Hey all. So my bilge pump is not pumping water out of the boat. It runs, but pumps right back out of the side of the pump into the bilge. I have a 1992 tournament 192 btw. I want to replace the bilge pump, but dont know how I'm supposed to reach it and secure it to the hull. Any tips?

Find the hose that is supposed to be connected to the pump, and reconnect.

Access is through the round pie plates in the splash well. If you have to replace the pump, if you can find the same model, you can often switch out the motor, and leave the strainer basket attached to the hull.

Should be an area to mount it with screws. Fill in previous holes.

Are you able to see your current bilge pump? If so, take a pic and I am sure we can tell you how to address yours step by step. I just did my front one about a month ago and everyone here helped me through it.

It’s straight forward.Don’t worry about it.
