Replacement LED nav lights for 1989 sailfish

I've read all the threads here and got me more confused
I would really like to find some replacement green and red navigation lights with LED bulbs that would come close to the same footprint as the original lights. The old light fixture itself is in OK shape, but the lens is cloudy and I'd just like to have the trouble free operation of the LED's. Looking for the 2 mile rating for maximum brightness.

Two of the biggest names in the industry are Attwood and Perko. Go onto their website and compare their products with what you have. If you look closer (probably underside) at yours, you might find a manufacturer's name and model. Then contact that manufacturer and see if a direct replacement is available. But keep in mind that you're comparing new stuff to something almost 30 years old. TH Marine and Innovative are a couple more companies that come to mind.

I replaced mine with these attwoods a few years back. Direct fit and not issues with the installation.

I did have one go out, and Attwood replaced it promptly. No issues since.

did the same as Robert about 4 years ago. 2-3x brighter and have had no issues to date. swapped the mast bulb out as well with an led bulb to boot.
