I removed the head unit and threw it out, it was all rusted. I did not however unclip the harness from the radio that plugged into a white harness, was this a Grady part? If its is where can I find one? Also looking for a place to buy a new dash, the lettering for the switches faded.

If the connector you are referring to is the one that plugs into the back of the radio, i is not a Grady part. A new radio will come with a new harness that you will have to splice your wires onto.

There are many posts for dash and switch replacement. Use the search feature on this forum.

Did you throw out a short harness to the radio? How about a picture of the connector in the boat.

That harness you threw out that plugs into the boat connector is not available. Best place to find one is in your garbage can! That little harness is usually adapted to connect to your new radios harness. The connector in the boat is a Molex connector. You may be able to find the mating connector on Amazon or Digikey.

Crutchfield may be able to help you build an adaptor harness. They routinely build them for auto upgrades.

For dash switches look at New Wire.
