Hey guys,
My genset overheated the other day and my guess is that it is a bad impeller. When I tried to get to the impeller I found that it is tucked behind the engine close to the fiberglass on the other side. Also, the access panel is too small for me to fit more then my head and arms through. These factors led to my inability to check the impeller. Does anyone have any tips on getting to the impeller? Are there any special tools needed to loosen the wing nuts (due to the tight space)? I would hate to have to have a mechanic change something as simple as an impeller. Thanks for any tips you may have.
